If you tell us briefly what the problem you are having with your Laptop or Netbook we will make a note of this to help with our investigations.

Examples of what might be happening:

• Screen may not be turning on or the screen maybe very dull (but you can still make out the desktop if you look closely).
• Strange errors on the screen.
• Over heating.

We will run a full and comprehensive set of custom diagnostics tools and advise what service is needed to fix the problem if one is found.

Please be aware that sometimes the only way to diagnose a laptops faulty LCD screen is by  replacing the LCD cable & LCD Inverter & LCD Screen if this needs to be done we will only charge you the cost price for the Cable and Inverter (we have test LCD screens) this is not be refundable even if these parts do not fix the problem.  (Sometimes even after replacing the LCD panel & the LCD Cable & Inverter the screen still won’t turn on often it is the graphics card which has failed which is not fixable.)

 

Facts & Tips:

If your laptop or netbook is showing lines or other distortion on its screen it may not be the LCD which is faulty.

Plug your laptop or netbook into an external monitor and press its external display button if you see the distortion on the external display often this means the graphics card is faulty not the LCD.
