Laptop LCD Replacement

Cracked or no display on your laptop or netbook ? it maybe a faulty LCD display.

Bring your laptop to us and we will carry out a laptop diagnostics on it to pin point the precise LCD or LED panel you need (they are all different) this will cost £40 which is not charged if you agree to go ahead with the repair estimate.

Sometimes it maybe more obvious if you need a new screen for your laptop.  If you have cracked the screen then clearly that is what needs replacing.  If your laptop has a black screen or intermittent display problem PC Healer will need to carry out a laptop diagnostics* to pin point the precise cause.

To make the process a bit easier please provide the make and model of the laptop so we can make sure we order the right screen.  (also please specify if you want a matt or a gloss finish on the screen).

*Please be aware that sometimes the only way to diagnose a laptops faulty LCD screen is by  replacing the LCD cable & LCD Inverter & LCD Screen.  (As there are thousands of different types of laptops we may need to order an Inverter and Cable specific to your laptop).

if this needs to be done we will only charge you the cost price for the Cable and Inverter (we have test LCD screens) this is not be refundable even if these parts do not fix the problem.  (Sometimes even after replacing the LCD panel & the LCD Cable & Inverter the screen still won’t turn on often it is the graphics card which has failed which is not  fixable.)

Facts & Tips:

Laptops and netbook LCD screens can vary a lot, from size, to finish (Matt or Gloss) to different resolutions (the higher the resolution the more detail on the screen but the small everything gets)

Sometimes to get the  precise LCD screen is to look at the label attached to it (which involves taking the laptop apart), this is something we at PC Healer some times have to do.
